Tracy Whiteside
“I create with minimal equipment, photographing primarily in my basement with a single light or outdoors in nearby fields. My work explores women's experiences, mental health, and healing through conceptual storytelling.
Over the past year, I have shifted from working with models to creating self-portraits, a deeply vulnerable but rewarding process. My ideas begin as mental images, and after the photograph is made, I use Photoshop to refine and expand the story, allowing the editing process to shape the final piece.”
Tracy Whiteside is an award-winning, internationally exhibited fine-art photographer specializing in dark art and fantasy images. Her work has been printed in fashion magazines, art editions, book covers, and literature journals. Tracy's art primarily focuses on women’s issues and mental wellness.
